For those Gordon fanciers who have not been to Rhode Island before, you’re in for some fun! First of all, nothing is far away in Rhode Island! Because we’ve got so much coastline, both within Narragansett Bay and along the Atlantic Ocean, we’ve been nicknamed The Ocean State. Historically, there’s a lot to see (check out the links!), we’ve got some awesome restaurants in Providence, Newport, and within a few miles of the hotel, McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA team for the Boston Red Sox) is twenty minutes from the hotel, the Providence Place Mall is only thirteen minutes up Interstate 95, and Newport is thirty minutes from the hotel via the Jamestown/Verrazano Bridge and the Newport Bridge (toll!). The south coast beaches are impressive, and most are within 30 minutes of the Crowne Plaza. So come prepared to have fun in Rhode Island with your Gordons (and yes, you can take your dogs to most beaches since it’ll be off season, just check that beach’s website before you go).

Petco is 9 minutes from the show site. Doggiefood.com’s warehouse is 14 minutes from the show site where you can get about any kind of dog food (no Iams/Eukanuba, Purina though). There is a brand new Super Stop and Shop grocery store within 3 minutes of the hotel. The Warwick Mall is just across Interstate 95 from the hotel, too!
