General On-Site Raffle
One of our more eclectic (and easy) fundraising efforts is the General On Site Raffle where hundreds of items are available for the taking. Buy a bundle of raffle tickets (about 40 in a bundle) for $10.00 and then drop a ticket at any item you would like a chance to win.
Tickets will be pulled before Best of Breed judging and available for pickup during the Thank You For Coming Party.
We expect to have a variety of items (grooming, training, clothing, canine paraphernalia, etc) donated by many vendors ,as well as members and exhibitors. There is bound to be something for everyone.
If you have anything to donate, or know of a vendor who is willing to donate something, please contact Donna Grant at DGSilverDollar@aol.com or call her at 203. 966.9967 All donations will be credited in the catalogue if received by March 15, 2012 and any vendors who donated will be offered a link to their website from our National website.
The Silent Auction has become one of our most popular fundraising venues at National events, and this year proves to be no different. Generous donors to the Silent Auction allow us to offer a diverse group of items. This is the place to come to find new and exciting Gordon Setter, Scottish and unique things to add to your collection, and help the national event as well. The Silent Auction display will be set up in a room next door to the Hospitality suite.
This year, we are starting our Silent Auction display and bidding at the Veteran Sweepstakes on Sunday, May 6, 2012 with the final bidding ending after the NE Clambake on Tuesday evening. Silent Auction purchases may then be picked up and paid for after Best of Breed judging the next day, therefore allowing our hardworking Silent Auction committee time to calculate the winnings and organize the items.
The committee is gladly accepting donations of artwork, books, handmade items, jewelry, etc from our members, their friends and family as well as vendors.

In order to be included in the catalogue, your donation must be acknowledged before March 15, 2012. Donations may be shipped ahead of time or brought to the national by the start of Sunday’s activities.
The VISA Raffle gives us a chance to expand our fundraising to include more than just our Gordon family. The raffle offers a chance at 3 prizes – $1,000, $700, and $300 VISA Gift Cards with an additional $50 gift card for the seller of the first prize ticket
With a VISA card as a prize, the winner can choose any item they would like, be it electronics, clothing, jewelry or dog related and who wouldn’t use a git card nowadays!
Tickets for this raffle are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00 and the drawing will take place at the conclusion of Best of Breed on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 (winner need not be present)
For your convenience, you can download a template of five tickets for you to copy and sell to your family and friends.
Copy as many tickets as you would like, SELL as many tickets as you would like (remember the more tickets you sell, the more chances you have to sell the ‘winning’ ticket for a $50 gift card)….
