May 19th was the third time that the TarTan GSC Team walked (or in this year's case - floated) at the Walk for Fidelco fundraiser.

This is a successful and important fundraiser for the CT based Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. The foundation raises and trains guidedogs for the blind. This year we saw lots of umbrellas and raingear as the weather was less than cooperative, but there were equal numbers of brave souls and their four legged companions marching out in the beautiful, although soaked, park grounds.

Laura, Steve and Nat Bedford donned their slickers, and with Violet and Kitty in tow, made the walk through the park, with Laura snapping some pictures between the raindrops. Karol Paduch and one of her newest Gordon family members made fast friends amoung the people and animals participants. And wannabe Gordon, Trudy, and Ms Ella took Cindy and Natalie Fitzgerald along for the day's activities.

TarTan again donated a generous amount to the Foundation and hopefully, with better weather next year, we can boast a bigger and better turnout !!!
