The
TarTan GSC has taken the initiative with
the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC)
to establish a Gordon Setter DNA Repository
for genetic research. Owners of Gordon
Setters throughout the country are welcome,
and encouraged, to participate in collecting
samples of their Gordon Setter's DNA for
the CHIC DNA repository for genetic research.
(Note that CHIC forms for Gordon Setter
DNA collection and directions for shipment
differ from the general information available
on the CHIC web-site.) Gordon Setter
owners wishing to participate are requested
to download all forms from the TarTan website
and follow the directions for collection
and instructions for shipment on those
forms. |
