Mission:

To provide a source of health information for owners, breeders, and health professionals that will assist in breeding healthy Gordon Setters.

Guidelines:

To work with breeders and owners in the identification of health issues.
To promote open discussion of health issues.
To encourage collaboration among owners, breeders and health professionals.
To offer education and direction in support of DNA research and open health registries.

Locate canine clinics being held near you, or at a show you plan to attend. Search by state. Check back often as more dates are added on a regular basis.

The TarTan GSC has taken the initiative with the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) to establish a Gordon Setter DNA Repository for genetic research.

TarTan Gordon Setter Club, Inc. has taken a leadership role by stepping up to sponsor health research for the Gordon Setter.

Donate to the cause and memorialize someone special (2-legged or 4-legged).

The GSCA Board of Governors has voted that, effective with the 2008 National Specialty and the 2008 National Championship, all entries MUST be DNA certified.
