Available Gordons

Blue
Blue was about nine months old and intact, when he came into rescue. His original owner wanted a hunting dog but Blue was gunshy. Blue was given to a relative who didn't have the time for a high energy young Gordon and they called rescue. Blue was placed with a home in Canada who had had several Gordons over the years.

Sammy
Sammy was a pet shop puppy who was on his third home by the time he got into rescue. He is now living in a wonderful home in New Hampshire.

Dakota
Dakota was surrendered by his owner to a shelter in NY State. He doesn't get along with other dogs (although he loves children) and it took a long time to find the right home for him. Dakota is now an only dog in a home in CT.

Jessi
Jessi was adopted by Jim and Zan La Plante years ago, and she died this year. She was one of the dogs in the Parade of Rescue dogs at the 2004 National.

Honey
Honey is an approximately ten year old female, recently placed. She was found wandering in Southbury, CT

Duncan
Kingpoint Conquistador (Duncan) is a five year old male, who was surrendered by his owners because of family issues. He was adopted by the family who fostered him.

Stanley

Left to right above: Stanley, Paul Marston, and Billy

Stanley came into rescue after his owner of eight years passed away. He was fostered by Phyllis and Jerry Lundy, where he had a wonderful, loving home as we searched for the right forever-home. He didn't mind other dogs, but cats were another story! Phyllis had listed Stanley on Petfinder, where his soon-to-be family (Paul Marston and his 5 year old Gordon Billy) spotted him. It is so wonderful that Paul was willing to take Stanley, at 10, into his home - we know he'll be loved there, and we know Stanley will enrich their lives as well!
